Trout Unlimited's 'Tie One On' Event...
A Great Success!

DSR attended the 6th annual 'Tie One On' Fly-tying Rendezvous, held at the Genesee Grand Hotel in Syracuse, NY on March 25th, 2017. This was DSR's 3rd year attending the event, and it has grown tremendously over the last few years. The event drew big names of the Fly Fishing industry, including Lefty Creh and Bob Clouser. DSR's own Garrett Brancy was there catching up with long time DSR fans, as well as those who are new to the scene.

"We saw a great turn out this year and always enjoy attending this show because of the intimate atmosphere, variety of vendors/demonstrators, and friendly hosts. We want to extend a BIG Thank You to Jim and the rest of the Iroquois Chapter for organizing this wonderful event and putting CNY on the map. If your at all interested in Fly Fishing in CNY, this is the show to attend!'  - G. Brancy

We're settling in after our weekend at 'The Fly Fishing Show' in Lancaster, PA. This was our first year at this venue and we really enjoyed the seeing so many familiar faces as well as meeting all the new ones! We had over 200 people enter to win the DSR raffle basket during the two day event.

Join us in congratulating:
Levi from Cedarville, OH and Robert from Mountville, PA
Both won some great DSR garb and FREE fishing passes.

Bob, from Fleetwood, PA, came to the show decked out in his DSR vest, and went home the big winner of a free night of lodging in one of our beautiful lodges!

Did you know??

Spring is a great time to check out DSR for fantastic small mouth bass fishing. The lower stretch of the Run into the estuary offers prime habitat and its not uncommon to see 3-5lb lunker bass! You may even run into an array of other species including; northern pike, carp, long nose gar, and possibly even a walleye!
