Current ConditionsIMPORTANT REMINDER FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS:June 25th is the due date for season pass payments. If we receive payment from June 26th to July 15th there is an additional $50.00 fee. Any passes that are not paid for in full by July 15th will be offered to the anglers on our waiting list. Also be sure to E-MAIL us a picture as an atatchment with no sun glasses. If you have e-mailed a picture in the past we have it on file. If you mailed regular pictures we do not have copies of them. These must be in by July 15th. We will only be making passes once this season. If we do not have your picture with payment by July 15th you will not receive your pass. If you have any questions please call us @ 315-298-6672.
NEW ADDITION: We have received a special stocking permit from the DEC. This May the DSR will be paying to stock several thousand 10-14“ trout on the run. We are going to open the run to fly fishing for LODGE GUESTS ONLY. This will be a great way to enjoy the DSR without the crowds. Please contact us for summer lodge packages.
CHANGE ON THE RUN: Starting the opening day of the 2010-11 season in August, the DSR will be 100% CATCH AND RELEASE for ALL Trout species and Atlantic Salmon. We will still allow customers to keep their limit of Chinook and Coho salmon, but trout and atlantics will ALL have to be released. We hope that this will have a positive impact, not only on the DSR , but on the entire river system. Every fish that is released is one that will have that much more opportunity to spawn and live another day for another angler. LODGING: We are now taking booking for the 2010 season. At this time we do still have some dates available in our lodges for September and October. However these select dates are filling very fast. Please contact us if you have any lodging needs for 2010 @ 315-298-6672.
OPENING AND CLOSING DATES:
We will close to the public on the last day of April. We will grant access to season pass holders from May 1st to May 9th. All access to the DSR after those dates will be restricted to lodge customers only.
Lodging: We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our online availability calendars. Please call the DSR office for the most up to date availability.
