Despite the abundant overcast and heavy winds, conditions remained pretty comfortable on the water, reaching about 60 F.  Most of our anglers took advantage of the 40 F start to the day and joined us first thing this morning, fishing into the early afternoon.  Fortunately with the SSE winds, anglers were able to seek some refuge in the middle and upper sections of the property, reporting little disruption.  However, it seemed like the lack of sun slowed the smallmouth fishing down a bit, with most anglers reporting a few caught, just in lesser numbers today.  A few less smallmouth reported today, but a couple of steelhead reported in the mix. With most angling efforts focused in the middle and upper sections, it seemed the middle remained the most productive again today.  Forecasts call for similar conditions tomorrow, just slightly warmer, nearing 70 F.   At this time the dam release is currently scheduled to remain at 500 CFS until 11:59 PM tomorrow (4/28).  Please monitor safewaters.com/facility/lighthouse-hill for updated dam release scheduling.
